The cherry blossoms at the University of Washington’s Quad are one of Seattle’s most beloved spring attractions. The Quad features 29 Yoshino cherry trees planted in the early 1960s.
These original trees were moved from the Washington Park Arboretum. They’re a symbol of the U.S.-Japan friendship
