The tallest tower in San Francisco
This is the tallest building in San Francisco and the 2nd tallest building California (tallest being Wilshere Grand Center, L.A.) with a height of 1070 ft with 61 floors.
This is the Salesforce Tower.
The tower was completed in 2018 and serves as the headquarters of Salesforce, a cloud-based software company. It was designed by the architectural firm Pelli Clarke Pelli, with a unique tapered design and a façade of clear glass panels that reflects the surrounding cityscape. The tower’s design was inspired by the shape of the Bay Bridge and the Transamerica Pyramid.
The tower’s top-floor observation deck, called the Salesforce Tower SkyDeck, is the highest publicly accessible space in San Francisco, offering 360-degree views of the city and the surrounding Bay Area.
Salesforce Tower is home to the largest on-site water recycling system in a commercial high-rise building in the United States, which saves an estimated 7.8 million gallons of water per year.
