The Emerald City has great sunsets, but sometimes due to the unpredictability of the weather, such beautiful sunsets are missed.

This was taken from a sailing boat, @sailing_seattle out in Elliot Bay with the beautiful Olympic Mountains in the backdrop.

Elliot Bay is a body of water that forms the western arm of Puget Sound in the northwestern part of Washington State. It is part of the larger Seattle Harbor and is situated between the cities of Seattle and Bainbridge Island. The bay stretches approximately 10 miles (16 kilometers) in length and is known for its deep-water port, which serves as an important shipping and transportation hub for the region.

The Olympic Mountains are a majestic mountain range located on the Olympic Peninsula in western Washington. These mountains are part of the larger Pacific Coast Ranges and are known for their rugged beauty and diverse ecosystems.

The Olympic Mountains have a unique characteristic—they are not part of any larger mountain range. Unlike many other major mountain ranges that are connected to nearby ranges, the Olympics stand alone, making them an isolated and distinct natural feature.
