However, it is essential to exercise caution and have avalanche awareness due to the mountain’s terrain and prevailing snow conditions.
Guye Peak offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains, including nearby peaks such as Snoqualmie Mountain.
The peak is named after Francis M. Guye, a prominent Seattle-based mining engineer who explored the area in 1800s. Guye was involved in mining operations in the Snoqualmie Pass region.
